Alongside our custom development work, we’ve built our own secure AI platform, Pulse, designed specifically for business environments. Pulse is gaining strong traction, with organisations across NZ looking to embed it into their operations as a safe, scalable way to leverage AI.

We don’t implement off-the-shelf tools and call it transformation.

We work alongside leadership teams to design systems, whether bespoke builds or Pulse-driven solutions, that create measurable, long-term advantage.

We’re looking for a Strategic Partnership Lead - someone who builds long-term commercial partnerships grounded in trust, clarity, and real outcomes.

This is not a traditional sales role.
This is a partnership role.

What This Role Really Is

You will be the consistent thread in the client journey.

From first discovery conversation through to long-term growth.

You’ll:

  • Lead strategic discovery sessions with senior decision-makers

  • Understand business goals, operational friction, and growth constraints

  • Collaborate with our AI engineers and developers to shape the right solution

  • Present clear, commercially grounded options

  • Guide onboarding and early adoption

  • Stay connected to drive ongoing optimisation and expansion

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Discovery & Solution Design

  • Lead high-quality discovery conversations

  • Identify true business goals and bottlenecks

  • Determine where AI or bespoke software creates measurable impact

  • Collaborate internally to shape tailored solutions

  • Present thoughtful, commercially sound proposals

Long-Term Partnership Management

  • Act as strategic contact for assigned clients

  • Conduct structured check-ins focused on growth and optimisation

  • Monitor adoption, satisfaction, and opportunity areas

  • Identify where additional tools or bespoke builds add genuine value

  • Drive retention and expansion through trust

Growth & Opportunity Management

  • Handle inbound enquiries with strategic qualification

  • Selectively pursue aligned outbound opportunities

  • Maintain clear pipeline visibility and forecasting

  • Close high-value, strategically aligned engagements

Internal Collaboration

  • Bring client context into solution design conversations

  • Work closely with engineers during scoping

  • Ensure commercial intent aligns with delivery

  • Share insights that inform product and service evolution

You are deeply comfortable in AI and software environments. Not just excited by the hype, you understand how systems work beneath the surface. You can discuss model application, workflow automation, data governance, and implementation considerations with confidence. You don’t need to be technical in delivery, but you must be technically fluent.

You’re comfortable:

  • In rooms with CEOs and senior leaders

  • Talking ROI, operational efficiency, and transformation

  • Navigating longer sales cycles

  • Working alongside technical experts

  • Having honest commercial conversations

You understand that trust compounds over time.

Experience That Helps

  • 5+ years in B2B technology, SaaS, consulting, or digital transformation

  • Experience in consultative, solution-led environments

  • Proven ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder engagements

  • Comfortable managing sales cycles

  • Strong understanding of software systems, AI, or digital operations

  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams

  • Strong capability in structuring, writing, and presenting commercial proposals

  • Confident discussing ROI, operational impact, and investment rationale with senior decision-makers

  • Able to translate technical solutions into clear commercial value

  • CRM and structured pipeline management experience

Bonus:

  • Experience with bespoke software or AI-led solutions

  • Experience managing retainer relationships

  • Existing NZ or Australian business network
