The Role: Help Small Businesses Work Smarter

We’re seeing a wave of small businesses who know they need to evolve, but feel overwhelmed by tech, AI, and where to begin.

We’re looking for someone who can step into these conversations, meet people where they’re at, and guide them through what’s possible. Someone who can listen, figure out the best tools for their needs and budget, and implement smart systems that create the biggest benefits for their company.

You’ll Be Doing Things Like…

• Responding to enquiries and booking discovery meetings

• Visiting local clients and learning how their businesses really work

• Recommending fit-for-purpose tools or automations (sometimes AI agents, sometimes off-the-shelf tools, and sometimes custom tech from the Foxbyte team)

• Writing clear proposals outlining what’s needed, why it matters, and what results to expect

• Setting up tools, integrations, and systems with a clean handover or ongoing support

• Making things feel easy for clients who are unsure or overwhelmed

• Keeping an eye on recurring patterns and opportunities we can productise over time

What You Bring

• You’re a natural with people, you listen well and explain things clearly

• You’ve got a strong interest in AI and modern tools

• You’re curious, practical, and always looking for ways to improve systems

• You know how to write a solid proposal or breakdown of work (bonus if you’ve done this for clients before)

• You’re reliable, proactive, and capable of managing your own time

• You genuinely enjoy helping people and seeing them succeed

• You’d fit in with a team that’s kind, clever, a bit geeky, and seriously good at what they do

This Role Could Suit Someone Who’s…

• Worked in IT consulting, business systems, operations, or tech support

• Already helping people set up automations and tools on the side, and wants to make it official

• Ready to join a values-driven team doing leading-edge work, without the corporate stiffness
